Original Remington Custom Shop 40-XB KS Rangemaster 338 RUM Left Hand

Closed now since 2013, the Remington Custom Shop in Ilion New York produced some of the most elegant and accurate rifles ever produced. This example is the model 40-XB KS (Kevlar Stock) in the left-hand version. All of the 40-X rifles were made in the short action even when chambered in a long cartridge like 338 Remington Ultra Magnum as this one is. As can be seen, by the pictures, this rifle is in excellent condition with the only marks on it are some minor blemishes in the polished barrel. The rifle has been fired approximately 200 times and the bore is still in excellent condition. All of the original factory paperwork is included such as the factory test target and also the original factory hard rifle case. This rifle weighs 10.45 pounds; very helpful considering the cartridge and manageable recoil and the barrel is the 40-XB standard 27.25 inches.
